Conference Objectives

The objectives of the conference Transformations in Governance: Capacity Building in the Asia Pacific Region are:

• Developing dialogue on transformations in governance

• Bringing together research, practitioners and different disciplines to focus on topics of governance transformations

• Building substantial research networks to engage with policy debates and influence policy direction

This conference provides a forum for academics, researchers, postgraduate students, and representatives of the public and private sectors and civil society to discuss and exchange ideas on contemporary issues and new approaches to governance focussing on transformation in governance in Australia and the Asia/Pacific region.
