About Govnet

The Governance Research Network (GovNet) seeks to tackle issues of institutional governance, from small firms to national institutions to global institutions - recognising both common governance issues and radically differing contexts.

GovNet is concerned with understanding the ways institutions can be structured to ensure, as far as possible, that they further the values that justify their existence through innovative interdisciplinary solutions involving ethical standard setting, legal regulation and institutional reform.

Researchers in the Network are also interested in learning from institutional failure and cases of poor governance (from ineffectiveness to maladministration, corruption and state failure).
